New AS19xx high-efficiency Energy$ense™ digital PMUs with multi-rail DC/DC offer 94% peak efficiency and real-time power sensing and control for total energy management. All 10 devices in the AS19xx Family provide two Synchronous Buck Regulators with internal power FETs. Triple Output devices include either a Buck, Boost or LED Boost (constant current) Controller. All ten AS19xx devices are available in 5x5mm 32-pin QFN RoHS compliant packages.

8/16-bit AVR XMEGA Series with USB and High-precision Analog
 
 
 

The latest member of Atmel’s 8/16bit MCU family based on its proprietary AVR core adds full speed USB connectivity, while remaining pin-compatible with other XMEGA devices. Through the integration of a dedicated USB block, the device implements double-buffering and a unique multi-packet mode to achieve what Atmel claims is close to the theoretical maximum USB speed.

CML launched the CMX8341 digital PMR baseband processor
 
 

The CMX8341 is targeted directly at low cost, licence free digital PMR (dPMR) radios conforming to the ETSI standard, TS102 490. Dual mode analogue/digital PMR operation, high integration, low power consumption and small size are key factors for this market segment; the CMX8341 addresses all of these and its 6.25kHz digital mode supports FCC part 90 narrowbanding requirements. New USB to Digital Level Interface Cabling Solutions
 
 

FTDI added two new cables to its USB to digital level serial interface portfolio. The new C232HM-DDHSL-0 (3.3 V output power) and C232HM-EDHSL-0 (5V output power) USB 2.0 Hi-Speed to Digital Level Multi-Protocol Synchronous Serial Engine (MPSSE) cables - which form part of its expanding ‘Instant USB cable’ line - offer a fast, simple way to connect devices with 3.3 V logic level interfaces to USB. Supertex introduces pair of 24 Channel analog switches
 

 
 

The Supertex HV2662 and HV2762 are low charge injection 24-channel high voltage analog switch ICs. The HV2762 has integrated bleed resistors, which eliminate voltage built up on capacitive loads such as piezoelectric transducers. Input data are shifted into a 24 bit shift register that can then be retained in a 24 bit latch. To reduce any possible clock feed through noise, the latch enable bar should be left high until all bits are clocked in. Data are clocked in during the rising edge of the clock. Using HVCMOS technology, this device combines high voltage bilateral DMOS switches and low power CMOS logic to provide efficient control of high voltage analog signals.

New design SMD OCXO delivers high stability combined with low phase noise
 
 

IQD have unveiled their new IQOV-90 series high stability low phase noise OCXO. Designed and manufactured in Germany at their IQD FOQ GmbH facility, the new OCXO offers a range of outputs and supply voltages across a frequency range of 10 to 40MHz. Improvements in the oscillator circuit design have reduced the typical phase noise to -98dBc/Hz @ 1Hz and -152dBc/Hz@1kHz with a noise floor of less than -157dBc/Hz. Using a high performance SC-Cut crystal, ageing behaviour of less than ±50ppb per year and short term stability of <5x10-11@1s can be achieved based on a 10MHz, 12V, sinewave output device.
