New ultrasound chipset provides high resolution ultrasound images
 
 

Supertex introduced MD1715 and TC8020, an ultrasound driver chipset that generates a five level waveform for high resolution imaging in medical ultrasound applications.

MD1715 is a two channel logic controller circuit with twelve low impedance, high speed, MOSFET gate drivers. It has two sets of control logic inputs, each set containing three pairs of MOSFET gate drivers. These drivers are designed to tightly match the drive requirements of the Supertex TC8020.

TC8020 is the output stage of the pulser, with six pairs of N- and P-channel MOSFETs. It is designed to have high input impedance and provides typical peak currents of +/-3.5 amps at 200V and fast switching speed.

 
10.5V High Speed Low IQ 200mA LDO With Extended Temperature Range
 
 

The new XC6505 series from Torex is a 10.5V LDO that combines the best of both worlds, being high speed (PSRR is 60dB @1kHz) while consuming only 5.5µA. The XC6505 operates with input voltages from 1.7V to 10.5V over an extended -40~+105°C temperature range and can deliver output currents up to 200mA. The output voltage range is from 1.5V to 8.0V in 0.1V increments and the series is available in SOT-89-5, SOT-25 and USP-6C packages. Datasheet: XC6505

With improved temperature characteristics (±50ppm/degC) and a tighter Detect Voltage tolerance (±0.8%), the new XC6126 series from Torex offers designers a more accurate solution for simple RESET and battery monitoring applications. The XC6126 is also one of the smallest Voltage Detectors available today, measuring only 0.95mm x 0.75mm x 0.4mm in the USPN-4B02 package. With a typical quiescent current of only 0.6µA the XC6126 is ideally suited to a wide range of portable equipment and battery power applications.

OB not only enhance sunlight readability but also provides an extra layer of protection against moisture and physical damage. Besides brighter LED backlights, Data Vision also builds a Low Reflection Polarizer to further enhance the sunlight readability on our high bright TFT. UP1 - Undervoltage release switch
 
 

The new UP1 undervoltage switch monitors the supply voltage and actuates a trip release when there is an intense drop in voltage or when the supply voltage is interrupted. As soon as the supply voltage returns in full, the machine or equipment does not automatically restart in an uncontrolled manner, but must be consciously switched on again. Using this function, dangerous situations for operating personnel as well as for the surroundings of the device itself can be prevented.

New DC Filter FMER SOL Logo
 
 

SCHURTER presents its new standard DC filter series FMER SOL suited for use on the DC side of the inverter in photovoltaic systems and other DC systems. Modern solar inverters, that use MPP (maximum power point) trackers, generate disturbances into both the grid’s AC power line, as well as the DC side of the solar module. An AC filter is normally used on the grid’s AC power line, but the noise generated on the DC side tends to be overlooked. EMC standards EN 61000-6-3 and EN55014-1, however, also put limits on the noise generated from lines not connected to the grid, such as for example the line to the solar panels.
