Lattice Semiconductor has discontinued their Mature Simple Programmable Logic Device (SPLD) family. The reason for discontinuance is due to closure of one of their Fabrication Sites in 2011. As you are aware, the Atmel SPLD product portfolio is a Pin Compatible Replacement for Lattice Semiconductor’s popular GAL devices. Atmel is the only SPLD supplier that offers true 5 V (ATF16V8/ATF22V10C) as well as 3.3 V (ATF16LV8/ATF22LV10C).

Up to now PC/104 plus connectors permitted a board to board distance of 15.24 mm. This was usually enough to connect two boards.
