Low VF Schottky Rectifiers in the SOT-23F package

The CMPSH1-4L and CMPSH1-4LE are Low VF Schottky rectifiers with superior low VF characteristics and packaged in the SOT-23F surface mount case. The CMPSH1-4L features a low forward voltage drop of 270mV @ 100mA, and 390mV @ 1.0A, while the enhanced version CMLPSH1-4LE, features low leakage currents of 200µA @ 5.0 Volts and 900µA @ 40 Volts.

The SOT-23F provides a 9% lower profile than the standard SOT-23 with a maximum height of 1.0mm. These energy efficient devices are ideal for portable battery powered applications where extending the battery charge duration is a prime requirement.

Schurter expands by introducing Radial Leaded Varistors AVTS, AVTP and AVTT
 
 

SCHURTER now offers radial leaded varistors, also referred to as MOV (Metal Oxide Varistors), which help protect electronic circuits against surge transients, such as can be caused by lightning strikes and switching of contacts and inductive loads. Varistors are suited to a wide variety of applications including switching mode power supplies, ballasts and motor protection used in areas such as industry, telecom and medical technology as well as in consumer goods.

There are different types for various applications fields available: AVTS for secondary protection, AVTP for primary protection, and AVTT for 3-phase applications. The varistors, all approved according to IEC 61051, UL 1449, UL 1414 as well as CSA C22.2 and conforming to RoHS regulations, are available in plastic bags, taped and reeled and in ammo packaging.

All tests for approvals according to IEC 60934, UL 1077 and CSA C22.2 235 have now been successfully concluded in accordance with the data sheet for all product versions and numbers of poles. Until now in particular, the 1-pole version had no approvals. The new approvals tests were carried out in part with new bimetal material and other product optimisation aspects. Through this a number of parameters could be considerably improved:


Increased operating temperature range -30 °C to +60 °C
Reduced influence from high ambient temperatures (smaller correction factors)
Narrower trip characteristic band width for rated currents = 3 A
Increased product life: 50'000 switching cycles under load
Improved conditional short circuit current Inc: 2'000 A
