5707 Series – Prevents particles and liquids from entering into the appliance.The new and first of its kind power entry module, series 5707, advances the range of applications in the area of detachable power. It offers an alternative to makeshift accessories often used to prevent particles or liquids from entering into the appliance. The new power entry module is resistant to dirt, dust and other fine particles, as well as sprays, splashes and jets of non-aggressive liquids. The inlet portion of the 5707 is according to IEC 60320-1, style C14 or C18. It is combined with a 1-or 2-pole fuseholder and a standard or medical EMC filter rated up to 8 Amps at 250 VAC.

The breakers are available in 1-, 2- or 3-pole arrangements and stand out through their compact form and attractive design. DD11 / DD12 – maximum functionality within minimal dimensionsThe latest power entry modules, series DD11 and DD12, from Schurter are extremely compact and robustly designed. The PTS – Public Transport Switch- is the replacement version to the OES – Opto Electronic Switch. The PTS switch is designed as a door pushbutton switch for usage in public transportation applications. Due to the user-friendly design the PTS switches can be easily operated by elderly and handicapped people. A unique feature of the PTS series is the outstanding tactile feedback with a lifetime of 2 million cycles. A further advantage is the illumination with a viewing angle of 180 degree, which gives a wide-range identificationof the switching status. There are various LED versions in the colors green/red or yellow available. The PTS switches can be fixed with 3 screws. These screws are located behind the front bezel and therefore, they are not visible for the passengers.

The new MSM DP switch is designed with two separate switching contacts. The separate contacts can be used alternatively as normally open, normally closed or as change-over? (N.0./N.C.). The MSM DP is ideal for potential free momentary switching action of electrical equipment. Furthermore, the switch can be used in applications where an additional second contact is required for a safety circuit. Typical applications are for example emergency switches where the control loop is switched and in addition a second circuit for emergency services is activated.

The threaded-neck type is available with an IP65-rated cover, which protects against the difficult environmental conditions faced inside a hospital. Its tripping operation is cycling trip-free. The circuit breaker's fuse holder-style body offers a good substitute for panel fuses where in-rush currents cause nuisance trips or aging of the fusing element over time. Resetting the circuit can avoid unnecessary downtime and maintenance costs associated with replacing fuses. Improper replacement with the wrong current rating is also prevented. The circuit-breaker button extends to indicate when the circuit is interrupted, then returns to the depressed status when pushed to reset.

Piezo switches resistant to water and dirt and for application at extreme temperatures.
Piezo switches from SCHURTER have proved themselves optimal in meeting the demands for extremely long lifetime and for an operating surface that is seal-tight in order to prevent the access of dust and fluids. For the switches with an N.O. switching function, the operating temperature range has been extended to -40°C up to +85°C. This means that the piezo switches can now also be used in outside applications where extreme temperatures and temperature fluctuations may occur. The switches contain no moving parts, have a robust metal housing made of anodized aluminum or stainless steel and are hermetically sealed. The lifetime (lifetime > 20 million switching cycles) is almost unlimited, as barely any material wear or mechanical fatigue arises. The piezo switches are resistant to dirt, sand, dust and water; they can neither freeze nor stick through contact with fluids.
